Bahr

Description: "On white, a crowned red eagle rising to the left." (Argent, a crowned eagle gules, displayed a gauche.)

Motto: "Tout comprendre"

This particular image, with a lone star on the breast plate, has been in use since 1981. Please note that the posting of this logo on the internet constitutes a first degree publication. This is all that is required by international standards to prove the copyright in a trademark, and it is certainly more of an audience than the old knights ever had.

Ownership of this logo is linked to ownership of the domain 'bahr.cc', and this coat of arms may be used without express permission by any descendant of Lotte Wohlers Meyer, born 25 Feb 1870 in Schwinge.

The logo is similar to the arms of the family von Reimershusen and of the state of Brandenburg. It is different to Reimershusen in that the eagle is rising to the LEFT. Brandenburg also does not use the North German knight's crown.

The owner of this logo descends from the knights von Reimershusen in Balje-Nalje. The jousting helmet indicates that the owner is a commoner.
